Windows and macOS builds are available
Photos and videos from your phone, on your computer after one scan.
RabbitDrop is a small tool that runs on your computer. Open it and it shows a QR code; scan with your phone's camera and use the browser to send photos, videos and any file — all over the same Wi-Fi, with no app to install and nothing passing through a cloud.

No account, no upload to a cloud, and nothing to install on your phone.
Open RabbitDrop on your computer
The window shows a QR code and the Wi-Fi network the computer is on. The code is generated locally — no external service is called.
Scan it with your phone's camera
Use the built-in camera app. What opens is a web page — a page in your phone browser, not an app. Nothing to install, no sign-up.
Pick files and start
Photos, videos, any file. They land in the folder you chose on the computer, and you can watch the progress on your phone.
Core capabilities
One job, done properly.
Sending the file was never the hard part. The clutter afterwards is. These are already handled.
-
01
Direct over the local network Phone and computer on the same Wi-Fi. Files go straight from one to the other — no account, no speed cap, no monthly quota.
-
02
Albums backed up by date Filter by today / last 7 days / last 30 days / a specific day. On the computer they are sorted into folders by capture time.
-
03
Large files resume Big videos are sent in chunks. If the transfer drops, it continues instead of starting over. Progress is visible on the phone.
-
04
Never overwrites a file If a file with the same name exists, the incoming one is renamed to IMG_0001 (1).jpg. The original is not touched.
-
05
Skip what you already have With content dedup on, files already on the computer are not sent again. The check uses the content fingerprint, not the file name.
